Hotel Dorado La 70

Best place to stay in Medellin 5 stars ⭐️ Everything is so clean and the stuff is so professional

Check-in was arduous to say the least. 30 minutes of paperwork and room revision when one just needs to unwind after travel. The staff act very suspicious of everyone... not sure what that's about. They gave me the wrong room and I had to wait until after 5 pm to get the one I paid for. The room was very nice, well furnished, but has a serious lack of electrical outlets in the locations that one might need them for a computer or cellphone charging. A conventional coffee maker was provided, but only instant coffee. One must use the coffee maker to heat water for the instant coffee. The breakfast was poor. The hotel location is fantastic and room (with balconey) is a nice change.

Modern Hotel, very professional staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Obviously an excellent location

The bathrooms were modern the entire interior of the hotel was pleasing and it was nice to have a balcony kind of loud but that's what you get being on 70

I like the property hqve stayed here before many times. But the front desk was a mess this time took almost 2 hours to check in. In the morning place was also understaffed for the free breakfast tickets. The staff are either new or havent been train properly to handle high volume of checkins or customer service. The staff is also not very helpful and seems to not be able to think for themselves. When attcked by angry customers not properly trained to handle stress.

Upon check-in they couldn't locate the reservation we made thriugh hotels.com. After I showed them the email confirmation they gave us the standard room even though we booked and prepaid for the executive room. We had to go back downstairs and get the room upgraded to what we had already paid for. Then, each day when we'd leave the room and come back our keycard would not work and when we'd go back the the front desk they'd tell us it was still coded to the original room.

Great, except the “snickers bar” I apparently ate From the mini bar. Two stays, both times this came up. Dont like snickers! Maybe the maid takes en?

Overall a great place. Nice rooms. Great location. Breakfast is overall a frustrating experience. Having to line up to get a ticker to line up again for a not very good breakfast, crammed in with too many people, in the end i just akipped it and bought breaky elsewhere
