very dissapointed
We arrived at the "resort" and were welcomed by friend's of the manager since she had gone away for a week. I spoke with her prior to arriving since there was a mix up with our credit card. She informed me that the smoke had cleared from the fires around Crater Lake. When we arrived 2 days later, the smoke was still a problem since the northern entrance to Crater Lake was closed. The accommodations were spartan with a large room but nothing else. No tv, poor lighting and a make shift shower. We decided not to stay an additional night due to the smoke which bothered both of us. There was no one to discuss canceling the second night and when I called the manager, she told me that I could not get a refund for the second night after leaving. They also charge a lot for everything on the lake ie. canoes, boats etc. Should have been included under the circumstances. Very frustrating and expensive for one night's stay.
