Decanter Hotel

The first impression was excellent. The thematic of the hotel gives a warm and cozy experience. The room seemed clean but the bathroom sink and shower had hair and few stains of dirt (that after I threw water at the dirt, it moved so it is obvious it was not brushed to be cleaned.) this made me question if the room was actually clean. Bed was amazing though. Bed sheets smelled clean, and the bed was amazingly comfortable. I would stay again, but I would check how clean it is and ask them to change my room if it does not fulfill the cleanliness expectation. I thought about requesting a new room, but I had a long trip and I was too tired to pack up my stuff to move them to another room.

Balances everything well, value for money, comfort and cleanliness (including COVID precautions), service, and the character of the old town but in a newly renovated way. So well located for food, drinks and sights. Been staying for years and it gets better each time.

excellent location with plenty of restaurants, cafes, bars and a supermarket nearby as well as walk to the Morro fort and other sights. I was working and the internet was quick enough for work and streaming a show, but kept requiring log in so my data was quickly taken up as I wasn't aware the wifi had cut off. There are now those electric scooters to get around including to Condado if people wish. No food but they can supply a bottle of wine. They took COVID precautions professionally. Very enjoyable generally.

Beautiful balcony and the room was clean with a nice large bathroom. Did not like parking 7 blocks alway and walking with luggage.

Very unique property situated in the heart of Old San Juan. Balcony suites are worth the price. Will be staying here again. Very clean & followed COVID procedures.

Delightul Decantur, situated in an amazing location. It was a quick walk to the Forts. The room was impeccable and had a kitchenette for warming up leftovers from the amazing restaurants nearby. The rooftop view, while I enjoyed my coffee was amazing. The staff was so friendly and made our stay pleasantful as well.

In the center of old San Juan. Very convenient. Staff is helpful too

I was charge for another room twice, besides my reservation. The charge to my account was for about $1,243. Instead of my original reservation of $277.

The room and hotel was clean.. the only issue was the construction. Other than that it was excellent. I would definitely stay there again.
