Royalton Saint Lucia Resort & Spa - All Inclusive

Property was nice, due to covid not much activity on the property and they only left certain restaurants open per day due to lack of people here. The diamond club staff were great. The rooms were nice we had few issues with door locks on the room locking us out which after 3 different times they upgraded us. Overall nice experiences here and we met a few nice couples. They arranged transfers to medical center for our return home covid test which cost $100 pp for the tests. We enjoyed this time away.

The staff was so kind and helpful, down to every little detail! The accommodations were comfortable, clean and cozy. Breathtaking views, delicious food! I can’t see enough besides I can’t wait to return!!

CHECK- IN: Well our issues with this resort truly began from the moment we checked in. Originally we had booked a Junior Luxury Swim Out Suite in the Royalton section of the resort. A week before our check in date, I called the resort to inquire about the Hideaway (their adult only section of the resort). I spoke with a woman named Jennifer who first informed me that the upgrade would cost $35 per person/per day. After checking, she then informed me that there weren’t any Junior Luxury Swim Out Suite’s available in the Hideaway for our dates of travel. She did say that instead there was an ocean view balcony room available in the Hideaway and since it was a lower level cost room, the cost of the upgrade would be covered by the amount we had already paid for the Swim Out suite. I confirmed that I would like to go ahead and switch to the Hideaway then and she said she would put a note in the file that if a Junior Luxury Swim Out Suite in the Hideaway became available, someone would give me a call to confirm before our arrival date. I never heard back from the resort so I assumed everything was all set for our arrival. We arrived at the Hideaway lobby around 4:30pm. We began the check in process, received our room keys and were halfway to our room with our very kind butler, Christopher, when one of the girls from check in ran after us and said we needed to pay the $600 upgrade fee. I was very confused by this since I had already cleared things up with Jennifer over the phone b

The place is beautiful but the service is seriously disappointing! We placed complaints about the issues we were having and no one even rectified the situation. Management was not interested to talk to anyone in our party while we were there— such a shame as we will not visit again.

Poor and slow customer service everywhere throughout the resort. Buffet served undercooked pasta on numerous occassions. Some of the food is oversalted or too greasy. Why is there a fast food truck on resort grounds for a so called "luxury" resort? A few times i saw stray dogs roaming around the resort looking for people to feed them. Elevator was out of order for an entire day in building 5. The beach shallows was full of kelp and rocks making it uncomfortable and painful to swim in. Overall this resort needs a major makeover and the staff need to be trained in what a hospitality industry does.

The royalton was amazing, it was modern rooms and resort was clean. Beach was gorgeous and the staff was kind and friendly!

Royalton resort st Lucia, it’s a paradise on earth, diamond club is such an awesome experience, I’ve never seen a resort this clean with such friendly stuff, the pools and environs were well kept lots to eat and premium drinks all inclusive however the restaurants menu can be upgraded For a more local experience. Overall the best vacation/honeymoon thus far I will be returning in the future.
