What an amazing charming lodge! Loved the wood furnishings and little bar connected. The location was adorable and walked or took Jeep everywhere we went! The staff was so friendly and so open about communication for we had arrived outside check in time and left way early.

there was no heater in the room. there was someone trying to get in our room in the middle of the night but we have the door jamb lock engaged

the room is generally clean, location is walking distance to Botanical Gardens, Wright Park & Mansion House. Staff is very friendly & accomodating. Breakfast buffet spread is OK, I especially liked the brewed coffee. Highly recommended

Comfortable stay away from the city noise

We booked room M6 on 3rd floor and surprisingly, it is a huge room with 3 big beds and very comfy pillows. The toilet is very clean, complete with towels, bath soap, shampoo and toothbrush with toothpaste. The view from the room is perfectly relaxing. You can see trees covered in fog, especially during early morning and evening. The only downside in the room is that the live music from the pub down below can be quite noisy and distracting at late night, as well as you can smell some smoke when you open the door to the terrace. The staff are all very attentive and helpful, except that they don't normally greet you, and because they don't wear any uniform or identification, it can be a little bit confusing to identify whether they are hotel staff or fellow guests. Buffet breakfast is sufficient, although there's not a lot of variety to choose from. Perhaps providing some tea and fruit juices during breakfast will definitely make non-coffee drinkers happy, so they have a little bit of options, other than plain water. Hotel location is perfect as it is away from the city noise, and it is a 5-min walk to the botanical garden and about 15-min walk to the Laperal House. From the main road just outside the hotel, it's easy to take jeepney to the Mines View Park, Wright Park and The Mansion. However, traffic on Leonard Wood Road can be slightly terrible during peak hours on working days. Overall, it was a very comfortable stay. I will highly recommend.

Enjoyment with hardship

No, elevator. The dinning and services was excellent. Having to climb the stairs was hard on me.

Breakfast food were cold on the first and second day of our stay. There’s no air condition but there’s a fan. We have a lot of mosquito bites despite of us having a mosquito repellent that my daughter brought, so in other word... there’s a lot of mosquitoes. The only good thing on our stay was the place is nice and the staff are very helpful.

3-day Family vacation after Christmas

Our 3-day stay was so good. 😊 The location is very good. near the tourist spots. opposite Botanical garden, walking distance to Wright park and Mansion House. The foods in the reastaurant are also good. only no fried rice in breakfast buffet. The room are big enough for us five with 3 beds. Overall stay are very good. Thumbs up guys! 👍😊

An Short Family Stay

It was a relatively nice stay.room were very clean.area is close to tourist spot.transportation is accessible. The only negative is that we were not allowed to enter either of the bar and resto as they were booked out. They have to shoo us out and advises that we cant stay which is frustrating. We have to look for other alternative which is a pain. Staff and manager were not as friendly and not as accommodating. The guard were nice and he is the only person who is helpful.
