Agafay Desert Luxury Camp

We had a very nice time at the camp. People were super friendly and professional, food was great, the installations were good as well and the activities amazing. The only thing we would improve is the music and the coffee.

Disappointing place

This was the most amazing place I’ve ever been. Across almost 50 countries. Magical is the only word. Quiet, romantic, exotic. Activities and a great pool and lounge area. Delicious food!

This was an amazing experience. Camping out and swimming in a pool on the desert is a bucket list kind of thing and to do it in such luxury is amazing. The bed was very comfortable. The linens were shabby however and the top sheet torn. The meals and entertainment were good. The directions and signed route to getting there were amazing and very much appreciated. Word to the wise, if you are driving a small car, you WILL bottom out so go slow. The only concern I wish to raise is that extra costs are not clear. I assumed the camel rides and dinner would be extra but it was not clearly stated. In fact initially it is implied it is part of the camp’s regular activity like water aerobics at any other resort. My point is other than breakfast NOTHING is included and if it is not something you really want then you may want to clarify the price before hand. Every meal, refreshment, mint tea after the introduction, and activity is over and above the cost of the night’s stay. 2 dinners, 2 camel rides and a pot of mint tea was an extra €125 which is not going to break the bank but not clearly outlined and the reality is, you are in the middle of nowhere so you cannot find somewhere else to eat so why is the meal extra? Put it into the cost of accommodation. We drove there ourselves but you may also want to clarify the actual cost of the “free” hotel transfer. Also, it can be a bit noisy. Along with hearing the other guests in their tents, the tent itself makes noises in the wind.

Loved the desert and all around it . It was a very nice time

We arrived at noon by private transport. We were given welcome tea/biscuits and options for activities, lunch/dinner. We were then taken to our tent (No.8) At first I was slightly disappointed as the tent didnt seem "luxury" at all. There was an ugly rusty blue bathtub which seemed out of place. The toilet wasn't screwed into the ground so wobbled. And we had no hot water. To top it off we had men working nearby our tent. This was all sorted on request and we were moved to a much better tent (No.12) which now felt more luxurious. Tent was very private which was ideal for my wife as she covers for religious reasons. Staff were friendly and breakfast was amazing. Would recommend as it was an amazing, peaceful experience.

We enjoyed the fantastic views from every spot on your camp. All staff was very friendly and helpful. Simply put, if you want to spend a night in the desert, this is the place to go!

The camp was amazing. It wasn’t crowded as there were about 10 tents more or less. & they were well spaced, & all facing outwards away from the main tent. Sure the placement meant more privacy. We had a tub & toilet in the tent itself, with a little patio in front. It was spacious, beautiful & comfortable. Only thing was that it was winter & 7 degrees C at night without any heater. Luckily we were prepared for the cold. The food was just alright though, couscous was quite bland. We took a half day tour to Imlil & it was a really beautiful place up the mountains. 1st we were in the desert, the next thing we’re up the Atlas Mountains. The next morning we had a short camel ride & i was happy that the camels were’nt mistreated.

Lugar incrível e mágico no meio do deserto! Com certeza o melhor teint da região com uma piscina linda (porém gelada), comida boa, atendimento bom, tenda agradável mas no estilo luxo despretencioso ja que estar no meio do deserto tende a ser uma experiência mais “roots”. Unico problema que tivemos foi com a agua da banheira que estava gelada e tivemos que tomar um “banho de gato”. Recomendo

Manglet dessverre sjarm. Ser ikke ut som på bildene. Dessverre var den marrokanske stilen brytet opp med neonfargede detaljer. Angpende maten kunne man kun velge mellom et par matretter til middag, maten var dessverre helt usmakelig. Servicen var veldig medium. Skittent og gammelt basseng. Lever dessverre ikke opp til forventningene etter som man betaler ganske mye for å bo her.
