Very clean & at convenient location. Staff was very friendly. First floor rooms need to take some steps.

Loved having our own little space to sit in. Bedroom was large and comfortable, heating was effective and a great chance to do a load of washing.

Mostly good visit

The bed sheets were really loud whenever my partner moved, because of the material. There was mold in the shower stall on the wall and ceiling, and the sofa was very uncomfortable. Other than that we had a great stay and were pretty happy. The bathroom was really modern and pretty, and the bed was very comfortable. My kids really liked the bunk beds. We had everything we needed to make breakfast ourselves and there was a sainsburys local near by. The location could not be beat.

The location of the apartment is excellent for all of the sights of Edinburgh. There was however, an issue with the shower in the apartment that we rened for the weekend. Being a women of not average size, I was unable to use the shower as the entrance to the shower was small (single sliding door). There was also a larger than normal step into shower wihthout any support to help yourself in and out.

Clean, Comfy & A Great Location

Staying at the West Wing Linton Collection was a great experience. The place was clean, comfy and in a great location. I will definitely consider staying here on my next trip to Edinburgh.

We stayed in Apt. 118. It was exactly as pictured & described. Location was a bit tricky to find. On the map, it looks as though the apartments are almost directly across from the train station. In reality, we had to walk up a hill and around the block to get there. Check-in was easy. I received a detailed email prior to arrival. The apartment managers carried our luggage up the 2 flights of stairs to our apartment, which was very much appreciated. They were friendly & helpful w/any questions. The apt. itself, was exactly as pictured and described, including all amenities. Really quite charming. Towels & linens were nice. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint.....We usually stay in 2 bdrm apartments when traveling w/one or more of our adult daughters. At least one person in our family has a loud snoring issue. The living room sofa usually provides an alternative sleeping option for anyone being kept up by the snoring. However, it was impossible to sleep in the living room, b/c there is a bar/pub on the street level below the living room. The loud partying and drunken behavior went on until at least 2am most nights. Also, throughout the day (am -pm), we would get waves of aromas from the pub kitchen or another restaurant. These issues eliminated using the sofa as a sleeping option. (Note: Bedrooms were quiet!) I would definitely recommend a Linton Collection Apt while visiting Edinburgh. Just be sure to ask for a unit that isn’t over a pub/bar or busy street.

Sweet

The room was some kind of converted Victorian apartment which was cool. Even had the old coal fireplaces in it. Location wonderful, right next to Waverley station. Lots of shops and restaurants close by. Greyfriar’s Cemetery is just a shirt walk away. Really cool rooms.

Brilliant

Great location and facilities were superb. Only downside was being woken up by apartment above in the morning as I could hear them walking around and flushing the toilet and showering.

Can I stay forever?

Beautiful. This apartment had beautiful herringbone wood floors, the heating system was great, sofa was beyond comfortable, the down comforters were incredible, the kitchen had every possible utensil we could need, and the bathroom.. oh, the bathroom. I am a hotel designer, so when I see a 10" diameter rain shower: I know I'm in for a relaxing shower. Well, let me tell you: that was the best shower, ever. I would have napped there if my body would not shrivel up like a raisin in the process lol. Anyway, the electronic key code provided to you for entry to your room and entry to the luggage storage is ideal. (I love people, but if I had the option of skipping the reception process, I'd do it in a heartbeat.) Also, major points for the fact that the luggage storage works until midnight on the day you check out. It helped me troubleshoot having to leave my bags at a random luggage storage location. I was able to travel to Glencoe for the day. This place felt like home, and it was everything I needed on my last night in Scotland. 100% recommend to those who can appreciate a rain shower (and a wonderful sleep) lol.
