HOTEL M's EST KYOTO STATION SOUTH

The staffs are very helpful and courteous and they are able to speak English. The rooms are clean and comfortable and the location is very convenient, close to the Kyoto station. They also provide a free shuttle bus service to some tourist spots! We really enjoyed our four nights stay here :)

Very nicely updated hotel close to the train station (but make sure you check direction & location as there are many many hotels some with similar names around the station). While this hotel is close to the train station it is far from the tourist attractions so plan on buses or metro and perhaps invest in the Kyoto day pass for cost savings. Kyoto may also be the only city big enough to make it worthwhile to buy a hop on hop off bus pass

Great location, and outstanding staff service. Room is very modern, new, and high tech.

This was my second stay and it did not disappoint. From my check-in to check-out, everyone was ready to help if needed. The staff at the front desk speaks English, the hotel is located a 2-3 minute walk from the Kyoto train station making its location perfect as a base point allowing you to travel in different areas of Japan at the drop of a hat! They provide so many complimentary items that you only need to pack your clothes; having a washer/dryer on site permits you to pack less!! The added bonus is "Handy", an Android smart phone providing access to the Internet, think Google maps, camera and free long distance calls!! Wouldn't think of staying anywhere else.

Wel located location, as it was less than 7 minutes walk from Kyoto station, had a convenient store right under, and a few restsurants around. If this isnyournfirst time in Japan, you'll notice the rooms are small, however it is what it is. Cleaning was done perfdctly, and i love the Eco options of just having your towels changed, and you get free water by doing so. The laundry facility was great, the included breakfast was great as well. The staff were helpful and very respectful. I recommend this hotel.

So clean and so convenient, very courteous and helpful staff

The people at the hotel’s reception were extremely helpful. Mr Ma provided us with an iron immediately upon request and said we could keep it throughout our stay. He also helped us book the shuttle bus to Kinkakuji so that saves us travelling time though we bought Kyoto day passes. We boarded the shuttle right in front of the hotel. There are also shuttle service to other tourist spots and the hotel was very responsive when I check with them before check in. Great place to stay!

Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The hotel is in a great location, close to the station, department stores, restaurants. We were able to walk to some of the main attractions. They also provide a one way free bus to some of the main attractions. You just have to book in. The staff were always very friendly and helpful. This was a great hotel.

The hotel is a few minutes walk to Kyoto station and to a mall. It is very new. Although the room is small, it is well designed and provided essential amenities that you need. Staff is friendly.
