Amara Suites Santorini

We had an amazing stay at the Amara Suites. Dimitris and his son, George made us feel very at home, and as if we were part of the family. His wife also cooked amazing food for us. The property was clean and comfortable. It was absolute luxury. I would definitely recommend staying at the Amara Suites! We were sad to leave and can’t wait to stay again!

Just returned from an amazing holiday in Santorini which was made even more special by staying at Amara Suites. Demitris and his family are special. Kind, warm and attentive to every possible need. Sometimes it's just the little thoughtful extras that make people and hotels standout and stay with you long after your visit. Accommodation was excellent, pool super clean (checked daily by Demitris) and breakfast was plentiful and varied. Don't hesitate - this is the place to stay in Santorini.

This is the most amazing place on earth! The hotel is a family run place and you are made to feel like one of the family! The room was amazing, with a private hot tub on the balcony, which was lovely to unwind in after a long day lazing around! The bathroom was large and the shower was the best I’ve ever used abroad. When we arrived we are given a lovely plate of fruit. The breakfast is beyond amazing, served to you at the table, not a buffet. So much fresh food, freshly squeezed orange juice and coffee. During our stay it was our anniversary, my husband spoke to Demitris (the lovely owner) and he arrange for flowers and bubbly to be delivered to our room. How it was arranged, with flower petals was beautiful! When we checked out we were given a lovely bottle of wine to take home. Kamari itself is brilliant, lots to do on the pedestrianised strip. This place is absolute paradise! Would I return? Yes. Should you choose Amara Suites? You would be mad not too!

This property has recently been renovated. There are very few units which provides a calm environment. As we walked passed other hotels I realized our hotel had much more privacy... even though the hot tub is on the street side, there are bushes/trees planted to cover the view and the street is not a busy one, so not to worry! Eventually we were told that 6 more units and a pool will be added, so that would be a nice addition! The interior decor is phenomenal! It provides the signature Santorini cave style yet provides a modern touch. You are provided with all the necessary amenities such as a cellular phone that you can take around the city with you, coffee machine, safe, refrigerator, etc! The cleaning service was amazing! We had rushed out in the morning to grab breakfast and head over to Oia and basically left our room in a disaster... looked like a tornado went threw it... when we got back it was sparkly clean! They had organized everything, cleaned the floors, etc. each day!! So this hotel is family operated... the owner also has a nice restaurant located on Kamari St called FAMILY. Breakfast is provided at this location rather than on the hotel grounds itself. This restaurant provides a beautiful view of the beach while enjoying your meal. Now I’ve been to many hotels and let me tell you this breakfast was quite the spread! This hotel is located in Kamari Beach( 25 min bus ride away from Oia with a fraction of the hotel prices) Overall we were very pleased!!

Magnifique hotel bien situé à Kamari, proche du centre ville, 5 minutes à pied. Chambre spacieuse avec jacuzzi privé, petit déjeuner copieux, personnel très accueillant et sympathique. Parfait .
