Check-in was okay. It seemed to take a long time and they weren’t busy. They told me the wrong number for my room so someone had to come up and help me find it. I was tired and expecting dinner. On my email confirmation it said dinner was included. In hotel listing it also offered club access. However, dinner apparently meant happy hour and there was no mention of club access. Apparently afternoon tea also included, but I was too late for this. Honestly, I would not have cared about dinner except I was arriving so late (7 pm) after a long train ride so I think a bit of a disappointment. There was a nice little welcome snack of some macarons and fruit. The bathroom was absolutely wonderful. Beautiful elegant design. Great bathtub. Breakfast had a variety of Asian and western choices. Service for this was attentive. I also got a free ride to the airport but they didn’t tell me it was included so I spent ten minutes trying to communicate with driver trying to make sure he took WeChat pay. I think it’s a really nice place to stay —close to airport and funky designs. Part of the issue was translation and my own inept mandarin. I would stay there again.
