"this is the only hotel with beachfront and easy beach access. You can walk on the beach to get back to your room from downtown or you can take the city streets and come in the main gate. You are centrally located with convenient access to everything. The only thing I can say about the hotel that is not be positive is the pools were green and pool water was not clear. The location, the landscaping and the beach access overcame this one issue."

"Absolutely incredible stay – already missing it! We had the most amazing time here and feel genuinely sad to be back home. The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, with refreshing air conditioning that made all the difference. Breakfast was a real highlight – an exceptional spread with dishes from around the world and so much variety. Both pools were clean with cool, inviting water, and the entire resort was immaculate and peaceful. The staff were consistently friendly and helpful, making us feel truly welcome throughout our stay. One of our favorite parts was relaxing on the beach and pier lounges – such a perfect spot to unwind, have a drink and watch the sunset. There's also a charming little town just a short walk away, full of restaurants and a few shops, and it's super easy to book boat trips from the island. This has genuinely been the best holiday I’ve ever had, and I’m already planning to come back next year!"

"We had a fabulous stay at Phi Phi at Pier. The hotel is beautifully designed and equipped and very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Our rooms had everything we needed and were quiet despite the central location. The breakfast in the adjoining cafe was excellent. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Phi Phi."

"Although I liked the staff (very friendly and helpful), the general comfort feel of the rooms, the hotel isn't wheelchair/handicap friendly (...at least, I did not see any signs for it). I was hoping to bring my elderly parents, but with the amount of stairs for them to walk is a huge inconvenience."

"The hotel did an excellent job decorating our room with a birthday surpise. The place is quiet but not overly secluded. Plenty of eating options and minimarts within 3-5min walking distance. Less than 100baht, you can get a Grab ride to Ao Nang beach. "

"Beautiful hotel, all staff are so lovely and helpful. Peaceful location but also easy access to main centre, bar, shops etc. this is an amazing hotel and our stay here was very memorable. Just one point that we didn’t realise until we got to the hotel, there is no alcohol sold at the property, but they don’t mind you bringing alcohol into the hotel if you want some with your meal etc. "

"We had an amazing time - overall excellent experience. We came to Layana Resort to relax and relax we did. The hotel staff was really friendly and attentious, the grounds were beautiful, the vibe was quiet and relaxed. The spa was a real treat and we enjoyed the time we spent there getting massages and mani/pedicures. The restaurant was great (especially the Thai dishes and special menus) and we had all our meals there for most of our stay. Eating by the sea never gets old :) Sunsets were beautiful, and while the sea was not safe for swimming for half of our time there (very strong tides), the pool by the beach more than made up for it.
