"I love everything! I wish if I was staying longer. I really don't want to go home. The food was great, the bed was comfortable and the room was bigger than many hotels I have stayed at. The internet was excellent, I got to actually do my work. Because it's a residential area, I used the transportation app to call the TT version of Uber. Very convenient. I did tell them the approximate time of my arrival flight, and I was picked up within a few minutes after I called them. A very friendly personality, as in, in just a few minutes, it felt like I had known her for a while!
They also offer a courtesy trip to the nearby mall, etc.

"What a special place to have stayed! The Pax Guest House is located atop Mount Saint Augustine in one of the nicest locations on Trinidad. Fantastic views from this well-preserved guesthouse that dates to 1925. Fantastic hosts manage this property. They are very helpful and reliable. The guesthouse provides a very delicious breakfast in the morning. Guests should be mindful however that bathroom facilities for some rooms (not all) are shared with other guests. "

The neighborhood did not seem safe, and there were no restaurants in close proximity, so a car is needed. Recommend for those not wanting to stay in Port of Spain. "Kiskadee Korner is a safe, clean and friendly property in the St Clair neighbourhood of Port of Spain. I felt so reassured by the staff’s friendly approach to ensuring a pleasant stay and of course my safety. I appreciated them being there for me late at night when my flight arrived, and also the WhatsApp number they had should I need anything. I really appreciated their communication prior to my arrival to ensure I had a seamless stay.
The dual gate system was also a comforting feature of the property, and I also really enjoyed the pool and the tranquility of the property. The pool was by far one of the cleanest pools I have ever enjoyed in all of my travels, and overall the property is pristine and beautifully appointed. The staff will also recommend a reputable transfer company for you should you need one, and I found their recommendation to be incredibly professional and safe.
I overall really enjoyed my stay at Kiskadee Korner and I would absolutely return and of course recommend to anyone wanting to stay in this beautiful and safe part of Port of Spain near shops and restaurants to enjoy."
"Its not the first time I've stayed there (the Palms, Trinidad) i call it my 2nd home. Staff are amazingly friend. Room service is on point & the cleanliness is faultless. I would highly recommend. I staff for weeks at a time. There's plenty of delicious eateries around (minutes walk)
Although i love staying at the hotel the only disappointment I had was the restaurant, which has been taken over by Tropical Hand. I was not impressed with this company. There are 2 separate companies & i hope this does nit bring the hotel down"

If you get to the North Deck and didn't see it, you've just passed it. Look to the right of the North Deck and proceed to the furthest gate to the right. It's a steep climb by vehicle to access. Not for the faint of heart, but well worth it!
