"I booked and paid for 3 nights this week. Before arriving, I called the landline at about 11:45 no answer. On arrival just before the 3 pm check-in time the place was shut, doors locked and curtains drawn. Called the mobile number several times and messaged the mobile to inform the person I was waiting to check in. At about 15:30 I had to check into ANOTHER hotel as I had meetings in Corbridge at 16:15. On returning to Hexham I noted the pub was open and I spoke to the manager about the issues I...

"Stop over whilst walking Hadrians Wall Path. We had one of the cabins which was clean. the outstanding part of our stay was however the food. One of the best steak pies I have had and son thought the same on his fish and chips. "

"Daniela was an incredible host, despite booking the wrong type of room she was able to offer us a double. The room was incredibly clean, the bed was one of the most comfortable we have stayed in and the breakfast was delicious. Both her and her partner were extremely attentive and friendly. We would happily stay again in a heartbeat. "

"Everything about Langley Castle was excellent. The room was grand and spacious, with a view of the castle. The dinner in the restaurant was excellent as well, and as a guest at the hotel you get the chance to go on the complimentary Battlement guided tour. It's well worth a stay and I'll definitely come back some day. "

"What stunning hotel, we had a junior suite, and it was such a great space. Plenty of room for starters. Tones of natural light, with a fantastic view of the Millennium and Tyne Bridge.
Pure comfort and luxury, if we didn’t have plans I would have chilled in the room more, that’s how nice the room was. "
"Definitely worth a visit. We only stayed for one night but we will be back. Staff all unbelievably good. Food exceptional. Very quiet. Really good nights sleep. Highly recommend this hotel. We also did the free history tour of the castle. Do not miss this as it includes a visit to the roof to take in the views."
"Right from the friendly welcome by Tom, my stay was fantastic. I was travelling myself with 2 young children for a family funeral in the area. All the staff were friendly and very good with the children. They were made to feel very welcome by all the staff. We enjoyed a meal in the evening. Good choice for adults and children. We also all enjoyed the buffet breakfast too. "
