Would not recommend
I would never go back!
-Check in was supposed to be 3 pm but the room wasn’t ready until after 4 pm. Not a big deal except you don’t get access to the restaurants/ bars or wifi until you have a room number. After a long day of travel, this was irritating.
-There aren’t enough loungers pool side for all hotel guests so you have to rush out in the morning to claim your spot.
-The beach has eroded away. It’s roped off and you can’t get to the water.
-Tons of restaurants on property, but they don’t mention that most of them are buffets. Other restaurants require a “higher level all-inclusive bracelet”…which was never explained or given the option to buy
-Food was not good. Most restaurants and buffets had the same options/ menu across the property. Ended up getting sick from the food.
By and large, this seemed like a place where local Mexican teenagers go for Spring Break. That was the majority of the crowd. Which meant loud music playing until about 10:30 pm, and loud crowds until 2 am.
One of the only positives:
The staff were friendly and helpful. Most staff members spoke English.
We go to Mexico every winter. We have stayed at plenty of resorts and this was by far the worst. Would caution you to steer clear!
