We are two middle aged women, husband stayed home.
Our first night we had quite a shock. My friend had the bedroom closest to the front door. I was already in my bed watching tv.
Suddenly, we heard our front door open. No knock. A very tall black man let himself in and said “Hello” and my friend confronted him. He never identified who he was, but said “I didn’t know you were here yet.” My friend stared at him and he turned and left our unit. We never saw him again.
The view from the balconies was fabulous. We ordered food from WM and they delivered it to the parking garage area.
Smoking in the garage was a significant problem, as we are both allergic. The ground floor, where we always managed to find a close parking spot, has a large metal ash tray you have to pass to get to the elevators.
No one were in rooms next to us. There was absolutely no noise until the very last night. And then it was manageable.
The rooms were very comfortable, and again the view absolutely could not be beat.
In the closet in the guest room ceiling, a piece of sheet rock was cut out of the ceiling. It looked as if pipes had leaked or they had some reason to access the pipes. We took a picture of the damage.
We had some wonderful meals, particularly at Captain Benjamin’s. We had a car which allowed us to go where wanted instead of waiting for an Uber.
The beach service needs more chairs and umbrellas. We never sat on the beach. Pools were very nice.
