Just Ok,crowded.
Our 5 nights stay during early February 2025 was ok,not memorable nor bad.Our Melia room was well appointed,clean and everything worked well but given the good size of it,the bathroom was incredibly very tight with a very narrow sliding door although the rain shower was strong and delightful.The low ceilings were sometimes striking at the different corridors.The gym was well equipped with state of the art treadmills. The breakfast was good as can be expected in such property and very well organized despite the high amount of guests every morning,I really appreciated the automatically squeezed fresh orange juice . The location is at walking distance of the city center and main markets.The lobby, lifts and in general the common areas were mostly crowded.The staff was nice and helpful.My wife and I were discussing about the experience and decided that the next time in Chiang Mai we will choose a less crowded boutique style property.
