The hotel is in a very convient location in the heart of the beautiful Marais. Staff is polite, rooms are clean and mine was larger than the usual Parisian shoebox and felt recently updated. Only complaint is that decoration is a little drab, nothing bad, just plain. If you want cuter rooms, go to hotel BoJo just around the corner, but the rooms there will be smaller — sometimes the same price, sometimes more expensive. If you want to be within short walking distance of better restaurants (the Marais is not a culinary hotspot) stay on the Bastille-République axis or tad east of it, but it won’t be as cute as the Marais.
