I have to be honest. It was the worst experience ever for a hotel at that price. We arrived at the hotel in the morning, checked in, left our luggage, and went out for lunch. We came back at 3:20 to get our room, but no rooms were available. They made us wait in their coffee shop. After waiting for an hour and a half, at 5:00, we finally got a room. It was in the basement with an extra bed prepared for three people. They said they upgraded us and gave us a bigger room. Okay, it was bigger since it could accommodate three people, obviously, but in the basement? But we are in a different culture, so we accepted this underground room. We couldn't open the curtains since the windows, which are high up, are see-through from the street. (We found this out by walking on the main road and looking down at our room.) The room was clean, but the cold water faucet was completely broken, and there was no cold water unless you got it from the faucet in the bathtub. The noise from the street was unbearable. We could hear all the cars and bikes going by and every footstep, especially women's heels on the cobblestone and people's laughter! We couldn't get a good night's sleep. The next day, we went out for the day and came back to find our room had not been serviced. They told us we needed to request the service. Why didn't they tell us ahead of time? They gave us free breakfast as compensation. They had a pretty nice breakfast, and we decided not to raise our voices and just go home.
