I have never had a worse experience with a hotel in my life. I am not sure words can capture the frustration I have experienced, but I will sure try!
First, the hotel has a policy that if you don't check in by 5:00, they cancel your reservation and make your room available. After a full day of traveling, I arrived to the hotel at 8:00 and was told my reservation was cancelled and no rooms were available. They made no apologies, no attempt to help, and couldn't explain why they did not honor the reservation. The staff I dealt with were rude and lacked both knowledge and skill. Of course, all the hotels in the area were full. These people left me on the street with nowhere to go.
Secondly, the service is just terrible. Incredulous at how I had been treated, I returned several days later to speak with the hotel manager. She didn't seem to have much interest in fixing the situation, as she focused her attention on her cell phone text messages as we spoke. She said to me: "What do you want, an apology?"
This establishment does not deserve your business. They cannot even perform the basic duties of a hotel like welcoming guests and honoring reservations.
Stay somewhere else. Anywhere else. Don't let this happen to you too.
