Denmark is a small country with just under 6 million inhabitants. Despite its small size, this fairytale kingdom offers a long list of different experiences. The nearly 5,600 miles of coastline hide sandy treasures, the numerous green areas inspire adventure and action, while the modern art will let you see things from an entirely different perspective – or colour. Denmark is home to unique nature, recognised by UNESCO, exciting amusement parks for the whole family, and towns that are home to everything from green ski slopes to the birthplace of world-renowned poets.

On CopenHill, you and your family can experience outdoor excitement you won't soon forget. Rent skis or a snowboard or bring your own equipment and barrel down the CopenHill mountain, while enjoying the best view of Øresund. It doesn't matter whether you are a beginner or pro since the piste is split into different zones for different levels. So everyone can have a go. If you want to be challenged, you can try the top part of the piste, which is black/red, or try the twists and turns of the slalom track. End a nice day on the piste with a cup of coffee or hot chocolate at the ski café, which turns into an after-ski bar in a genuine 'Anton aus Tirol' style during the weekend.

The area in and around Rubjerg Knude is rugged and offers alluring migrating dunes, sandy ruins and steep slopes. In this harsh and wind-blown nature, you can find a true hidden gem, the old approach light. The lighthouse was built in 1899, approx. 200 metres from the coast, but over the years it has moved closer and closer to the edge, until in 2019, a decision was made to move the structure further inland – an event that went viral and made Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse world-famous! This move is thought to have extended the life of the lighthouse by around 40 years. So, there is plenty of time to visit the iconic lighthouse, which looks particularly good during sunset, against the foamy waves of the North Sea.

- Φωτογραφία
Grenen is Denmark's northernmost point, and it is part of a unique natural phenomenon. Here you can see how the two seas of Skagerrak and Kattegat meet in a foamy embrace. Even though bathing is not permitted due to the strong currents, you can take your shoes off and wade in. Grenen is the tip of Skagens Odde, which with its 30 km, is considered to be one of the longest headlands in the world. The headland is made of sand, which is being transported by the sea current along the entire west coast of Jutland. From the car park you can choose to go out to the tip of Grenen or jump aboard 'The Sand Worm' (Sandormen), a tractor-pulled bus.

This picturesque area invites you to take a walk among Denmark's oldest beech trees in the forest of Høje Møn or at the foot of the chalk-white cliff. If you fancy yourself in good shape, you can also put your fitness to the test. Take the stairs that go from the cliff coast up to Geocenter Møns Klint – there are about 300 steps.
