Front desk staff representative from New Jersey was welcoming and helpful. However, note that you must use the valet with each and every use of your vehicle (and they were awful - our vehicle was dented) because your vehicle is parked in some nearby high rise, there is no ice available unless you contact room service, and even though we paid extra for three of us in a room, housekeeping didn't give us enough amenities (water, soap, etc.) to function. Our front desk man did help us when he could. There is no consistency with housekeeping either. Room was over-technologized. Too too much technology for the sake of technology in these small rooms. Just let me turn the light on or off, don't make me go through a touch pad to activate system, then hit it twice, then wait, to turn a light off. Geez. The bed was not comfortable either, as we had backaches every day after waking. Lavazza coffee pods great, but fake creamer and no stevia. No real place to gather in "lobby" - the one table available was always busy. Location is close to restaurants and downtown activities. Top floor was closed and construction was daily distraction. I just expected more from an historic and high profile property. If you are curious, stop in for a gander of the architectural features that have been restored and find a roomier and guest-friendlier place to stay.
