The rooms were clean and nice, and the front desk and bar staff were super friendly, but the experience had several downsides. The view was terrible—just rooftops and walls of other buildings. There was no hot water for the shower, and neither of the bedside lights worked. Parking is 1.5 blocks away for $25 per day, or valet is $50 per day plus tax, all handled online. Valet service had issues: my car was left unlocked, once left running with the starter key taken away, and despite requesting it 45 minutes in advance for an early departure, it took an hour to retrieve. I also encountered two incidents that made me feel uncomfortable. There are nice restaurants within walking distance, but downtown has quite a few homeless people wandering around, and there’s little to no sightseeing. Weekend breakfast includes Mimosas but is not free—starting at $18, with extra charges for turkey or chicken sausages. Due to parking difficulties, having a disability, and specific incidents, I’d consider other options before staying here again. I wouldn’t strongly recommend or discourage it, but I’d suggest considering surrounding hotels first.
