The hotel is located in what seemed to me like a bad neighbourhood with poorly maintained buildings and grafitti on the Walls making me feel unsafe to go outside - specially after dar (the staff told me that the safety was OK though).
My room was very small and basic (no TV, refridgerator or safety deposit box) and getting enough soap for a shower and even to wash my hands was a Challenge, and the breakfast was also very basic.
The staff was nice and friendly though, and the rates are very low, so if you are on a very tight budget, the Mariam R can be a good choice. However I would recommend that you go for one of the bigger rooms and not the economy room, if the budget allowes it or preferably chooce another hotel.
