My stay at the Shoreham Hotel was frustrating from start to finish. I booked a two-bedroom suite, only to find there were no doors between the rooms, eliminating any privacy.
Before my arrival, I called to request an early check-in due to a scheduled conference call, and the staff assured me it would be possible. However, when I arrived, I was told I had to wait until 3:30 PM to check in. The front desk staff were rude and unaccommodating, adding unnecessary stress to the situation.
I also paid to have a refrigerator delivered and waited 1.5 hours for it, only to find it didn’t work—it stayed warm the entire time. The TV in the suite also didn’t work. I emailed management during my stay to request the refrigerator charge be removed and mentioned these issues, but I never received a response.
Given the lack of privacy, broken amenities, and poor service despite prior assurances, I believe compensation is warranted. This experience was far below expectations, and I would not recommend the Shoreham Hotel.
