Never got to go
I keep getting emails to write a review about my stay. Well, I wish I was able to experience the hotel, so the not so great review is not for the hotel itself, more so how I was handled during a situation they had. 30 minutes before I get there I get a call saying they’re going to move me to another location because a few rooms were leaking water. Not sure how much water was leaking from the rooms, but I would have even accepted a later check in for maintenance purposes. Was told I didn’t have an option of staying with them and that I’d have to accept the location change. Left with no choice I went to the location they sent me to. An INN. I was so embarrassed since this was a getaway for my fiancés birthday. Here we are at a 2 star hotel for basically the same price. All Steward did was send me 5,000 marriot points which equates to like $20. Thanks, that doesn’t even cover tax. For the hassle and such downgrade I expected better compensation but it is what it is.
