Not the greatest
This is a very old hotel. The lobby and dining areas are kept up, clean, & nice, but the room was not the greatest! Lots of visible defects that could have easily been fixed by maintenance, but were either overlooked or baindaided. We had a king suite with a pull out couch bed. The king bed mattress was not comfortable! My husband had to sleep in the pullout bed and he said it felt better than the king mattress! Dust & dirt in the corners of the room. The tub didn’t drain well when we showered. And the way the hotel is set up with all the rooms around the common area on all floors, it was very echo-y and loud until after midnight!

Excellent service. Rooms are large, however very dusty on the vents and fire extinguisher sprinkler heads. Great breakfast, and welcome evening cocktails. Ms. Sonya was on top of the situation, however.

Overall the hotel was nice, needed a few upgrades, it did seem dated. During our stay there was some some kind of party/ reunion in the lobby. This lasted all day until 2 in the morning. The hotel staff did not do anything to keep the noise to a minimum.

My family of 5 and I had a layover in Dallas and needed somewhere to spend 8hours . I picked the hotel because it was close enough to DFW airport and It had a shuttle bus that goes to the airport. When I called the hotel to ask where I can get the shuttle bus. The man at the front desk said you’re at terminal C , I’ll send over my driver. He then hung up before I could ask anything else. DFW airport is a big and somewhat confusing airport . Luckily the people at the airport were extremely nice and helpful . It took my family and I 1hour to find terminal C. The driver was fast and efficient . He did show up 25 minutes after calling the hotel and letting them know, we had made it to Terminal C. We arrive at the hotel and the man at the front desk was rude and made it evident he didn’t want to be there . It was late and all I wanted was to go to sleep after our long day at the airport. Honestly, the rude attendant was the least of my problems, Within five minutes of my family and I walking into our room. We saw a large cockroach How I wish I could up load the pictures of the cockroach that greeted us at our room door or of the garbage bag left on our balcony. By this point we decided to checkout after 3 hours and wait out the rest of our time at the airport. I will say this, the girl that was at the front desk when we checked out at 2:45 a.m was actually nice and polite.
