It’s a beautiful, upscale, safe neighborhood. The property seems well maintained and the communication with the team through What’s App was great! (Before we arrived, they asked us to get in touch with them that way and found them to be very responsive.) we did stand outside the building for 10 mins trying to get ahold of someone to let us in. The reception happened to be on break and couldn’t hear the bell. Through What’s App though, they passed the message along. Our apartment was very clean, simple, and comfortable. Dennis, the property manager, I believe was very kind and helpful.
However there were a few small things that we thought were noteworthy- 1. The bathtub shower was uncomfortably high for my 70-yr-old mother. 2. There is one comforter on each bed. Without top sheet, thin blanket, or fan, it made for disruptive sleep even in early March. 3. The small washer/dryer combo took over 7 hours. We only had time to do one load.
Our biggest issue was that we did not see the single bullet point in the list of amenities in the hotels.com app- “no elevator.” We did read reviews and the floor plan that indicated there WAS an elevator. Thank goodness Dennis was kind enough to carry our heavy luggage up and down, but it was ROUGH to climb 5 flights after long days of walking, especially for our seniors!
