The place is run down. Tiles in bathroom are not level. Needs remodeling. Screens are off the windows and laying on the ground. Wasn’t sure if the tub would crack open at any time when taking a shower.

Unhappy Hawthorne experience
I booked the hotel months in advance with the option to pay upon arrival. The day I was supposed to arrive they tried to charge me at 9am. Check-in wasn’t until 3 PM so obviously I had not arrived yet and then automatically canceled me. They never called or reached out in any way.

Thanksgiving
It was a thanksgiving weekend getaway. We are from San Diego the hotel send me a link to pre check in and I did before we left. We arrive late to the Hotel and the first thing the gentleman at the counter said that we were a no show and the rate was going to change I was very upset at that hour of the night we were also tired so I didn't want to argue with him and he just gave us the room. I told him that I will talk to them in the morning. Next day they told me that there was a miss understanding and that everything was ok. Also from five days we stayed there two days our room was not done. I will think twice before we stay there again

It was ok but not great and a lot of potential.
Unfortunately thr pool and jacuzzi were still not open. The breakfast needs a drastic improvement, steamed bacon and what seemed like powered eggs isnt exactly appetizing. While the room was nice as other reviews mentioned the infrastructure of the facility definitely needs some TLC.
