Our stay at the hotel was mostly pleasant, but there were a few issues worth mentioning. The bathroom sink being located outside the bathroom, right next to the front door, was inconvenient and unexpected, as there were no photos on the website showing this layout. Since it was snowing during our stay, our wet boots often left the floor damp near the sink. While we appreciated the provided placemat for shoes, the design made it tricky to keep the area dry and clean. Slippers would’ve been a nice touch to mitigate this issue. The room also got quite hot without the AC blowing but that was not a very big issue, we managed fine.
A more unusual experience occurred in the middle of the night when my girlfriend and I woke up to the sound of the shower glass door banging repeatedly, 5 separate but consecutive times even though no one was in the bathroom. It was strange and left us wondering if the hotel might have a ghostly guest! In the morning, we tried moving the glass door but realistically, it just does not make any logical sense for it to bang like that without someone physically pushing it. Very strange.
On the positive side, our room was cozy, the bed was very comfortable, and the location was fantastic—within walking distance of many attractions. Parking was easy, and the staff was kind and accommodating. Though we didn’t use the pool or sauna, they looked great. Overall, a decent stay with some quirks.
