I had an awful experience at the Homewood Suites by Hilton. From the moment we arrived, things went downhill. The front desk agent, Chris, made fun of a personal emergency my partner was dealing with, which was completely unprofessional and unacceptable. Instead of showing empathy, he treated us with disrespect, making an already difficult situation worse.
As if that wasn’t bad enough, the room was absolutely disgusting. We found bread crumbs on the table, and it was clear the space had not been cleaned properly. When we raised concerns, Chris told us the rooms were “beautiful” and that we would want to live in them—far from the truth! The place was filthy and far below any reasonable standard for a Hilton-branded hotel.
This experience was a complete letdown. I expected much better from Hilton, both in terms of cleanliness and customer service. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone, and I hope management takes serious steps to address the issues we encountered.
