The hotel was grand from the outside and was beautiful in the snow.
Inside was a bit chilly even though they had several, lovely open fires in the main foyet. The carpeted wall lift was small but effective, but was busy at times.
Breakfast was hearty and plentiful, but most of the staff in the hotel looked miserable half the time.
Our room looked like it had been chopped from a previous larger room, in two, and was very grey, with little thought for interior design. The bathroom was also small with no window and the water pressure in the shower was reduced. There was a bath but u needed to be a munchkin to really enjoy it!
The views from our room were stunning but the single glazing allowed the chill in, even though the radiator was on full blast.
We wouldn't stay again. Sorry
