The hotel room was well-equipped and clean. Its location in the heart of the tourist area made it very convenient to access the cable car station, shops and restaurants. The highlight of the stay was the breakfast, which offered a great variety of options—far more than just a couple of pieces of bread like some other hotels. The indoor parking was also very convenient, and both vehicle and pedestrian access required a room key, which added a reliable level of security.
However, the room’s facilities appeared somewhat dated and seemed to have been used for quite some time, although they were still clean. If the hotel were to renovate and upgrade to more modern, stylish amenities, I’d gladly give a higher rating.
During our stay, the swimming pool was closed, overgrown with weeds, and filled with dirty water, which was quite an eyesore and somewhat affected my impression of the hotel. The hotel staff also seemed less attentive. There was a small hot tub that was functioning but not open for use and had visible stains, which discouraged me from using it.
