No heater in the freezing snow days
We recently stayed here in Tahoe during snowy weather and had a very disappointing experience. We booked two rooms—one was fine, but the other had a major issue: the heater was not working.
We immediately reported this problem at check-in around 6 PM, expecting a prompt resolution given the freezing temperatures. However, despite multiple follow-ups, nothing was done. By 11 PM—after a long and exhausting day outdoors—we were still left without heat. At 11:30 PM, completely frustrated and unable to stay in such conditions, we had no choice but to leave and find another place to stay.
The lack of urgency and customer care in addressing such a critical issue was unacceptable. A functional heater in winter is a basic necessity, and the hotel’s failure to fix or offer an alternative solution ruined our experience. We expected better service and responsiveness, and unfortunately, this stay did not meet even the most basic hospitality standards.
