Room with a view

Loved our stay at the Grey Gull. The room was just like we saw in the photos and the views from the room of the ocean were a delight. The only disappointment was that the the trail to the beach from the hotel is not passable this time of year due to the ponds of water that are blocking trail passage.

Keep the light on for me.

This is my go to hotel when I go to Ocean Shores. I hate giving it such a great review because when it gets so popular my fear is when I want to go to ocean shores there will not be a vacancy. I have family at Ocean Shores and have stayed in most of the hotels and some of the B&B’s. This is my favorite. No disappointments.

Family and friends stay 1st time at The Grey Gull!

I love staying in Ocean Shores especially when theres a storm. I love hearing the sound of the waves and the wind. My buddies and I planned a trip for us and my son and my nephew. My nephew unfortunately wasn't able to attend due to being sick. We had never stayed at The Grey Gull until now. I am very pleased with our stay. I love the condo style unit and the decor. Our unit was on the ground floor with easy access to the parking lot made it easy to unload and load up every thing. I loved that there was enough space and sleeping arrangements for everyone in our party. I was alos impressed with all the amenities of the kitchen. I was able to cook our Dinner and in the morning cook breakfast. Also the dishwasher was very handy. The office staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We are planning on staying again in the future.

Very quiet, relaxing hotel with a great staff. One suggestion: more toiletries in the room at check in. If a stay is booked for a defined number of nights please have adequate shampoo, conditioner, and soap for each night.

Property is a little dated, but well-maintained, clean, and comfortable. Front desk people efficient and friendly. It was a little too cool and breezy for us to enjoy the pool and hot tub, but we enjoyed walking the roughly quarter-mile trail from behind the hotel down to the beach, and then a walk along the beach. Restaurants, bars, and stores nearby. The room has a comfortable living room and fully equipped kitchenette, so would be very nice for a stay of a week or more.

Overall, not bad. The room had an odor to it from allowing animals. My error, when i booked i didnt realize pets were allowed.
