When they advertised the upgrade to the allergy free rooms, I should have known something was up. That something was a horrifyingly strong air freshener/cover up scent in my room. Fortunately, it seemed concentrated in the living area. Unfortunately, I had to walk through it each time I came/went.
And I hate to type this because I'm a pet lover and I travel with my pets frequently, but apparently I was also in one of the pet-friendly rooms and it just didn't feel clean. Hairs on the furniture and bedding, etc. Perhaps that's where the cloying air freshener came in to play, too.
There was a big convention going on, so perhaps man-hours were more directed to that. But I was less than thrilled with my stay--especially the "clean" bath towel that was damp.
And while staff were friendly, there are so many options in this area, I won't be back here.
