Be aware of scam!
Upon check-in, they gave us a Deluxe Room with 1 King Bed, which we had not booked. We had reserved a King Suite, which is much larger and $200 per day more expensive. The hotel agreed to provide us with the room we originally booked, but only after two nights. When I asked why this happened, they told me they had no idea why we were assigned to the lower-cost room.
To me, it is a classic hotel scam - so be aware! In fact, when I discussed this incident with another guest, she told us that this scam is somewhat typical in the Miami Beach area; she said she had experienced the exact same issue previously.
The hotel has not offered any reimbursement for the two nights we stayed in a smaller and less expensive room.
Finally, the hotel description says they have a heated pool. This is not true. The pool was not heated.
