Love other HIs - this one, not so much.
This was our 8th (9th?) Holiday Inn (HI) - loved the rest, this one not so much. Short version: find another hotel in the area, or go to a different HI.
The room was iffy - just seemed dingy/outdated compared to the rest. Carpet had a few dark sticky spots. There were stains above the bed :( -- one side of the frame was also a bit broken and leaned to one side. The room was also noisy. The remote for the curtain did not work and it was stuck half way.
The other HIs had amazing breakfast! This one did not. The woman in charge of the food simply didn't want to be there. People kept asking for pancakes an hour before closing and she decided to just unplug the machine instead of swapping the batter pouch. The usual things (yogurts, omelettes, egg whites, etc were all non existent - not consumed, just not there). The cereal selection was not the same as others.
Bathroom was very clean for what it's worth!
It seemed they had nice electric chargers if you drive an EV (our friend said they were very fast)
In general, less friendly staff all around compared to other Holiday Inns. People swearing in the lobby.
We loved HIs, and most/all have been superb. I don't know how this location is part of the franchise.
