Good for an all inclusive
The resort is well-maintained and overall quite nice. Most of the staff is friendly and helpful, though a few were less so—which seems to be fairly common in Punta Cana based on past experiences.
The buffet offered a wide variety of options daily, which we appreciated—thankfully, it wasn’t the same food every day. However, it was noticeable that some leftover food was repurposed, so I’d recommend being selective with your choices. It would be ideal if all buffet staff wore hair nets, and if guests were required to sanitize their hands before entering.
Our room had been upgraded with new bedroom furniture, which was clean and comfortable. The bathroom, however, had not been updated. The shower didn’t drain properly, the tiles were worn, and we did notice some mold.
The beach was beautiful and well-kept, cleaned daily by the staff. The beach service was excellent, especially if you tip—Jefry stood out and provided amazing service! One downside was the persistent vendors approaching guests to sell items.
The à la carte restaurants were decent—our favorite by far was Agave. It was a nice change of pace from dining at the buffet every day.
Lastly, our concierge, Antonio, checked in with us daily and made sure we were enjoying our stay, which we really appreciated.
