Slick shower floor
The only thing I came across, as an older guy with stability issues already, there needs to be a mat in the bottom of the tub/shower. It is extremely slick. Could have been a bad thing when I went to step in/out. Access to the stairs could be better. Stairs are not a good thing for me but do-able. No mention in the description that it was 2nd floor, at the opposite end of the stairs. Price was fair, but a better description of what you have to do to get to the room would be nice...

October ‘24 Family Trip
This was a great place to stay right on the edge of town. It’s pet friendly so we could take our puppy with us. The owner was on the grounds and was very friendly and accommodating. Our room had 2 queen beds and they were comfortable. The room was a good size. We would stay here again.

2/10 Poor
Sep 27, 2024
We ended up up finding a completely different place to stay. This olace was not clean. There were spider webs over the entrance door. The room smelled horrible. Massive air fresheners were being used to cover up the stench. So much so that you could not breathe because of the overpowering flowery over dog poop smell. The carpet was totally worn and the floor into the bathroom was sagging when you stepped into the room. This was an upstairs unit which is fine. However worn out tread and carpet make it extremely unsafe for people going up and down with luggage. I was horrified at the condition and shocked. The host seemed to be very nice. The unit also had no AC which would have been fine there was a fan I saw after I asked about the AC. But just no way on the lack of cleanliness. We had to search frantically to find another location.

Loved the rustic nature of this room, the log cabin motif. Very well cared for and everything available that we wanted except the only option for air conditioning in the summer heat was open windows, box fan and ceiling fan. But overall, we are very happy with our stay.

Sometimes you just get an incredibly good vibe from a place. This is that way. The sheets are so soft and the mattress is so comfy, it was quiet at night, the manager texts you all the things you need to know. It isn’t fancy of course; the town is rustic and the lodge fits in. I’d stay again for sure.

Very worn down place. No staff - code checkin only. No tub and shower was VERY small. No cable. Was okay for one night but I will not choose it again. Bedding and bath were clean, but furniture and carpet were not.
