Double charged
When i arrived i let the young man know i was had a reservation for one night and provided him with my ID and credit card. We spoke about the breakfast, local restaurants, etc and never mentioned not finding my reservation or even discussed a nightly rate. I wasnt until he asked that i enter my card into the machine that i noticed he had charged me for the room in addition to a "deposit". When i questioned the charge he asked the manager to come and correct the credit card charge. I asked for a copy of the charge and credit and was told i could get a copy in the morning once the charges posted overnight, i wasnt pleased but at that point there wasnt anything i could do. When we checked out i made a point to ask for a copy of the statement and it was blank when i questioned it i was told there was nothing posted because i prepaid with Hotels.com when i asked about the error the night before and the fact i was only showing a pending charge on my card and no pending credit and she said "well i dont know what to tell you, i cant give you anything" the level of service was just awful
