Decent hotel, however overbooked
The hotel is very close to the airport, therefore it is very convenient if you have an early or late flight. There is also a free shuttle from very early in the morning till midnight.
The rooms are OK, although they could use some mild renovation touches.
Both the manager and the front desk staff were really helpful and happily accommodated an unusual request I had concerning luggage storage.
HOWEVER: I arrived at the hotel late in the evening. Although I had a guaranteed, prepaid reservation made 1 month ago, they had no room. There seemed to be a huge mess during that night, as I obviously was neither the first, nor the last one in the same situation. Once again the ladies at the reception desk tried really hard to find a room in another hotel (with no success) and finally gave me a smoking room (was not pleasant, yet it was better than spending the night in the car). Once again, excellent staff, yet unacceptable organization.
