Needs improvement
First off your renovations are done well & the rooms are nice and clean, but the feedback goes down hill after that sadly.
We asked for an upper room when booking & checking in, due to being light sleepers & when we checked in there were 3 cars in the parking area on Christmas night. The place was empty. We were told the upper level was closed for the winter, so only lower floors were available. The first night we were placed next to someone who snored so loud, we barely slept. Why would you put 2 guests back to back when the whole place was empty?
The next night we got back to the room & there was someone right above us who made noise for hours & hours into the late evening and then started again early the next morning, so needless to say our vacation of rest and relaxation was a crappy experience staying here. We were Really not happy with the fact that we were lied to when we were told we could not stay upstairs when it was obviously available.
The renovations are well done, but super super thin walls with no sound proofing & the metal around the bed bases are insane, when you get up to use the restroom & even lightly bump it it wakes the other person up, it sounds like a gong. Switch it out with wood or something that doesn’t make so much noise & don’t lie to your customers, as it does not welcome people back.
We visit the area numerous times a year, but sadly won’t be back to stay unless there is some compensation & changes made to the above problems.
