The apartment itself was nice enough. We had to call for linen for the pull-out sofa and enough towels. There were a dozen rolls of toilet paper but no paper towels in the kitchen, the TV wasn't hooked up for over the air local channels, you had to log in to personal subscription services to watch anything. The radiators didn't put out much heat. The toilet stopped flushing for a period of time. The shower valve didn't operate correctly, the lowest temperature setting was almost uncomfortably hot. The bathroom fan didn't work, and the tiny window was inoperable, so there was no venting of steam or odors. The bathroom sink faucets were so short and close to the sink edge that washing hands was difficult.
For some reason, the interior door between living room and rest of apartment had a an automatic closer on it, and the tension was adjusted way to high, which made opening it difficult. A door stop to keep it open would have been nice, The area outside the entry was littered with trash, and there was construction going on right next door. Parking on the narrow street was difficult. Even for the reasonable fee we paid, we expected a better experience.
