Terrible hotel, with the only redeeming feature being its location. Was forced to book it last minute for a business trip. Upon arrival, I was told, 'We need to make a copy of your photo ID. The government doesn’t allow us to do this, but the police will be pleased if something happens to you.' (What?!)
Initially, they tried to place me in a room right next to the reception, but thankfully, they offered one on the 4th floor due to noise concerns. I didn’t expect an elevator, so I was fine with the carpeted stairs, but for many, they’d be a serious safety hazard.
The 'double bed' was just two narrow beds pushed together, and I had to be cautious not to push them apart and fall into the gap during the night. One small window facing the neighboring building, just 50cm away, which wouldn't close or open randomly based on the outside temperature. If you wanted to use it to step out onto the roof, you could—nothing was secured.
Pillows had feathers despite mentioning dust mite allergy. Towels were torn and dirty. Couldn't sleep even with earplugs because there was constant noise between 2 am and 5 am—footsteps in the hallway, slamming doors, showers running, people talking, yelling, screaming, door alarms. Didn't need it but TV did not work either.
The shower was broken, toilet flush barely worked. The locker was too small for valuables. Though the room did have plenty of outlets.
For all of that they felt they could rip you off with 160 Euro per night.
