While the hotel itself was decent, with clean rooms, friendly staff, I have a serious concern about the safety of the surrounding area.
During my stay, I was mugged just a short distance from the hotel. This incident left me feeling extremely shaken. It's clear that the neighborhood is unsafe for walking, even during the day.
I would strongly advise future guests to exercise extreme caution when venturing outside the hotel and avoid walking alone, especially at night. Consider using taxis or ride-sharing services for all your transportation needs.
It's a shame that such a serious safety issue overshadows the hotel itself. I hope the hotel management will take steps to address this problem and improve the security of the area for their guests.
