The hotel is in an excellent location, and all the staff were friendly and helpful, but the building itself does not have the infrastructure to support the number of guests it services. Even at 6:30 am in the off-season it was often difficult to find a seat at breakfast.
There aren't enough elevators to handle the morning check-out and breakfast rushes or the evening/afternoon check in times. The lobby is an absolute cluster during those periods and the frustrating programming for the elevators meant that after waiting 15 minutes to go up, the elevator would sometimes go to the basement after the lobby and reset all the floors people had selected, going up to whatever floor last called the elevator to go down, causing the whole process to start over again. Often while going down you would wait 10-15 minutes and then be met with a completely full elevator so you had to try all over again.
It was also hot as hell in the building and we had to leave the window open for the entire stay, luckily it was winter.
The room itself was small but perfectly fine, however due to the overcrowding issues I would only stay here again if it was the cheapest option for the location by a significant margin.
