Fabulous stay!
Absolutely lovely stay. Very friendly and helpful owners and some really nice extra touches around the place (eg. little Halloween gifts/sweets left in the room and at breakfast). Breakfast is superb, plenty of choice and something for everyone (even a picky 8-year old!). Beds very comfortable and rooms very clean. Hotel perfectly situated, just a couple of hundred yards from bars, restaurants, amusement arcades and the seafront. Would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.

Good but not excellent.
They advertise that shower gel is provided, however my container was actually empty, the same for shampoo. I asked to refill, my message was ignored. Shower mat didn't look very clean.

Attention to customer detail was excellent. We checked in late, this wasn't an issue. We parked out car on the front, which was so convenient not having to find an overnight car park. The manager/owner remembered our grandson was going to the monster truck show at the raceway, and the next morning she had placed the table, including some little monster truck toys and chocolate for him. So thoughtful ❤️ The options at breakfast was brilliant to say it was a self serve. Very small hot options, but it's enough because the cold options were huge! Very impressed. The only negative comment I have is the shower! It's either red hot or freezing cold, was really difficult to get it at the right temperature for our grandkids, but we coped and they had a 30 second shower 🤣 It is a few minutes walk from the clock tower so fabulous location with small children. Don't stay here if you want modern, robotic rubbish! If you want a homely, personal touch, you must stay here! Overall our stay was great, and would definitely recommend, infact, we will be back for sure 😁 thank you for a fabulous few days.

I would highly recommend this hotel, Its in a great location literally 5 minutes from Train station and clock tower. The hotel.. the owners are lovely they provide everything you need literally for your stay, Our room was fab, my niece loved the little treats that was in our room on arrival and when it came to breakfast as-well. They are so welcoming and made you feel comfortable from the moment you check in to checking out. Just want to say a massive Thank you for a great stay and we will book again and i have already starting to recommended to family and friends😁

Lovely relaxed gataway x
The guest house is a little datedbut we can see steps are being taken to update. It was a compact but comfortable room with everything we needed . We had a nice greeting on arrivial and shown to own room . Everything that we needed was explained clearly . We didnt go down for breakfast on the first morning but told it was self service and a breif describtion on what was being served . On the second morning we did want breakfast. What a beautiful feast it was . A small selection hot items with an outstanding selection of cold , pastries ,frit ,seeds teas and coffee . Simply beautiful . It covered all the boxes . Was clearly labeled . To say this was included in the price was amazing . Its very close to all the action but also quiet . A lovely relaxed stay and id love to go again . We might make it a yearly destination to get our arcade fix . Thankyou so much. We cant wait to go back and see further updates on the accomadation . Although i really dont think you could improve on the breakfast location or hosts . Those little touches did make all the difference. Hopefully see you next year x

I booked the single room which was ensuite, quite small but wow did it have everything you could possibly want. Very comfy bed. Good size fridge under sink, lots of tea and coffee, hairdryer, iron and board. The bathroom had toiletries including little packages for anything forgotten, razor, toothbrush, sewing kit, shower cap, comb. Continental breakfast included which was amazing so much variety from cereals, porridge, yoghurt, pastries, waffles, pancakes, crumpets, flapjacks, variety of bread slices or rolls, cheese and meats, sausages, eggs, beans, lots of juices, tea inc herbal, and coffee and actimel! Really was amazing best selection I've seen. Help yourself so you can mix and match whatever you feel like. Definitely will stay here again. Everything you could want and so much more.

Lovely welcome, nothing too much trouble. Great variety at breakfast. Comfortable bed, had great nights sleep. Walking distance to all amenities, bus stop at end of road, limited parking at property (2 spaces) but this isnt a problem as car park short walk away and very reasonable prices, there are also parking spaces on road but the car park is more convenient. I would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone.
