Our stay was perfect from start to finish made very welcome. Perfect stay with our 4 legged friend who's was looked after. Bedroom had everything you needed. Evening meal was spot on and breakfast was brilliant good selection catering for everyone. Will definitely be visiting again.

The room initially seemed lovely and spacious, so unfortunately what followed was really disappointing. As soon as the bathroom door was opened, there was a very noticeable smell of poo, which obviously wasn’t a great start. The curtains also appeared to be hanging on some sort of makeshift rail, and when I tried to close them, they actually fell down. Not ideal when you’re trying to keep the morning light out and get some sleep. There was also a movement-activated light leading to the bathroom. I can see the idea behind it and, in theory, it’s useful. In reality, it was incredibly annoying. Every time I moved my leg in bed, the dog moved, or there was any movement during the night, the light came on. Between that and the curtain situation, I hardly slept. Unfortunately, the food was atrocious. Breakfast the following morning was particularly bad. I ordered the sausage patty and it was so unbelievably salty that it genuinely tasted as though someone had dropped the entire salt pot into it. My mouth tasted like I’d swallowed seawater. The staff were, on the whole, helpful, and I have no particular complaint about the service. However, for the price we paid, the overall experience was simply nowhere near good enough. A spacious room doesn’t make up for unpleasant smells, curtains falling down, lights repeatedly waking you through the night and genuinely terrible food. I left exhausted and very disappointed. Sadly, I wouldn’t stay again.

Great traditional Inn on the A46.

Great stay in a lovely hotel. The owner was charming, friendly and fun and gave an excellent display of first class customer service. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We left too early for breakfast so they made up packed breakfasts for us too. Some of the alcoholic drinks in the mini bar are free too! Bed was comfortable and the facilities were clean, tidy, modern and well kept. Parking right outside too.

Had a one night stay here and now looking for a reason to come back! Great staff, stunning location and and the room and food were excellent. In particular the attention to detail in the room with the décor and facilities was much above what we expected from this price point. Liked it so much we stayed for Sunday lunch!

Convenient location and pleasant stay

Friendly greeting on arrival by the team. Our meal was expensive but perfectly cooked. Room well equipped- particularly liked the Dyson fan. Nice touches like complimentary drinks, bathrobes and biscuits in the room. Fresh milk in fridge. Bed was a little firm for me, excellent location on our route down to the West Country,

I would have liked a comfortable chair in the room, as I had to sit on the floor to stop my dog getting up on the bed with me. Very well thought out amenities for dogs.

Outstanding!

A liitle known gem in the Cotswolds between Tewkesbury and Evesham. I rate this a the best value hotel I stay in. The rooms are tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean, and there are additional small gestures with the bathrobes and quality hand sanitiser, fresh biscuits etc that make every stay a bit special. The staff are polite and extremely helpful, and they genuinely care about what they are delivering here. Outstanding.

Beckford is beckoning

First time staying since the refit and have to say they have done a really nice job. From the corridor to the charming rooms it’s all so very nice. There is a really homely feel with lovely touches like plants in the rooms. Highly recommend

An excellent overnight bed and breakfast

We have stayed here before, but not since covid lockdowns. I believe that different brewery has taken ownership and it has received an excellent makeover. On-line check-in and check-out worked seamlessly and the welcome that we received from all staff was excellent, everyone was friendly. Our room, upstairs in the old pub building, rather than in the annex, was excellent with all the facilities we required. A very comfortable bed led to a good night's sleep. Our only slight problem was that water pressure was very low. Breakfast was superb. We will certainly return to the Beckford Inn when we next require accommodation in the Tewkesbury area.

We had a great stay and were very impressed with the room especially the size of it, the decor and customer service levels. The food was lovely and we will definitely recommend this hotel to others. Very happy and can't express how happy we were with everything.

Comfortable, delicious food

Stayed for 2 nights with our baby for a wedding nearby. Very helpfully switched our room for a better layout to accommodate the travel cot. Other family were also staying and they were great at accommodating all 15 of us for meals. Breakfast was delicious and lots of it. Our evening meal was also lovely. Room was very clean, good facilities and plenty of space for all our baby related paraphernalia. Only minor criticism was the low pressure made showering a slow process but was hot.

Lovely B&B found by chance!

Wonderful little find, stayed here for more one night for a nearby wedding. Lovely room and food made with local ingredients. Room was very spacious, comfortable and clean, with a wide range of complimentary drinks, homemade shortbread etc. Bathroom also very nice with modern shower enclosure. A few fixtures in need of tightening up (eg toilet roll holder) but very minor problems. Would definitely stay here again if I'm in the area. Picture of lunch purchased separately from room rate, but it was delicious!
