We booked this hotel as on Google Maps it said it was pet friendly. On our booking, we made a note that we were bringing two dogs with us who were very well behaved. Check in was from 3-6pm. We arrived at 5:30pm to no one in reception but our keys were in the apartment. At around 7:30pm a man from reception came up to take our details. He acknowledged the dogs and was friendly and helpful. When he returned with our passports, he knocked quietly so as not to disturb the dogs. The next morning, as we took the dogs out for a walk, the cleaner came in and also acknowledged the dogs before carrying on with her job. Our apartment was underneath the lift and the dogs were out on the patio when we were there. Members of staff made no comment. The next afternoon, I went down to ask about parking and I was told I had not paid the bill. When I showed her the receipt, it was only then that she noticed the note on our booking about the dogs. She said that the dogs had to go or we would have to go. I showed her the Google Maps page. She was very rude and said that she was not in charge of the various websites that they use for their hotel and tried to show me expedia.com, which we did not use. We then received a note under our door saying she had spoken to management and that the dogs had to leave or they would call the police. We went downstairs and spoke to management on the phone who shouted at us again. We then left the apartment.
