This was the 4th OYO I’ve stayed in (El Paso, Chehalis and Kalama). This is the worst experience I have had with OYO.
My room was not clean (toilet hadn’t been scrubbed, chair in my room has holes and burn marks, old candy wrappers and dirt under the bed side tables). The lighting was terrible as there were no lamps. Just one light in the ceiling and the bathroom lights (the other rooms with the curtains open had lamps).
I got a call on the hotel phone at 7am my first morning there. I answered and there was no one on the other line, so that was scary. A minute later, some woman bags on my door and says I’m parked in a no parking zone and I have to move (she said was the one that called). I go downstairs to move my car only to find that I am parked NEXT TO parking spots that have “Reserved” pained on them. But the spot that I WAS PARKED IN did not have “Reserved” painted.
This property has a sign at check in that says no smoking within 25 ft of the building. The woman who woke me to up to move out of the “no parking zone” smoked every morning right under my room (standing outside the door one the first floor that said “private”). Every time I left my room in the morning, her smoke wafted up to my door. I didn’t get this woman’s name but she is short, blonde dyed hair and in her 50’s.
The ladies that helped me check in and out were very nice, though.
Over all this was a terrible experience and I would advise anyone to avoid staying at the Centralia OYO!!
